Community Center

Description:
Ridgeview at Wakefield Valley's community center is a great place for residents to gather.
Currently, the community center cannot be rented.

Fitness Center
Hours:
Open daily from 5:00am - 11:00pm.
Description:
The fitness center, located in the community center, offers two elliptical machines, a treadmill, a stationary bike, and one universal machine.
An access key is required to enter the fitness center. There is a $25.00 fee for lost or unreturned keys.
Rules and Regulations
1. The fitness center is to be used at your own risk.
2. An adult resident must accompany individuals under the age of 16.
3. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted on the equipment at any time and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
4. Be certain that your Recreational Activities Waiver is signed and current.
5. Rubber-soled shoes and shirts must be worn at all times in exercise areas.
6. “Horseplay,” fighting, dangerous conduct, and any other activity disrupting another resident are not permitted.
7. Please be considerate of others and wipe down all machines when you are finished.
8. Food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted at any time. Closed plastic beverage containers are permitted.
9. Smoking is prohibited.
10. Secure all of your personal belongings. Home Properties is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
11. Please report all equipment malfunctions to the Property Manager.
12. Become familiar with the equipment before use.
13. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your physician before starting an exercise program.
14. If you feel faint, dizzy, short of breath, strained, or uncomfortable, stop immediately.

Swimming Pool
Hours:
While Carroll County schools are in session:
Tuesday - Sunday: 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Once schools are closed:
Tuesday - Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Description:
The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and is free for residents.
Lifeguards will be on duty.
Rules and Regulations
1. The pool is for the use of Ridgeview at Wakefield Valley residents and private membership holders only. Pool passes are required to be displayed prior to entering the pool area.
2. Passes will be issued by Ridgeview at Wakefield Valley to leaseholders and to private membership holders over the age of 14 years. In the event of loss or theft, residents will be charged a $10.00 replacement fee per pool pass. Residents will be required to return all pool passes when vacating their apartment. If not returned, the resident will be charged a fee of $25.00 per pool pass, which will be deducted from your security deposit.
3. No one under the age of 14 is permitted in the pool area without a lease-holding adult present.
4. Guest passes are available. One guest pass per resident will be issued for free. Each additional guest pass may be purchased at the leasing center for $5.00.
5. Floatation devices are not permitted, with the exception of those devices, which have the sole purpose of preventing drowning (water wings, life jackets, etc.).
6. No glass is permitted in the pool area. Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are also prohibited.
7. Pets are not permitted in the pool area, except for service animals.
8. The use of the pool will be denied for the following reasons: skin abrasions, cold, cough, inflamed eyes, bandages, wearing a diaper, or inappropriate swimming attire.
9. Appropriate swimwear will include suits designed specifically for swimming. No cut-offs are permitted, and although currently trendy, thong bathing suits are not permitted.
10. Home Properties and Ridgeview at Wakefield Valley will not be responsible for the loss or theft of any personal belongings left in or around the pool, including personal items left in the pool bathrooms.
11. Please deposit all of your trash in the trash receptacles.
12. Please do not engage in horseplay or boisterous activities that will cause a disturbance or threaten the safety of any person. If you cause a disturbance, you will be asked to leave the pool area.
13. The pool area cannot be rented for any reason.
14. Each resident or private member will be required to sign in upon entering the pool area.
15. Management reserves the right to deny access to the pool or revoke pool privileges to anyone who is or has been in violation of the above rules and regulations.

Tennis Court
Hours:
Please be advised that we will be resurfacing the tennis courts beginning on Tuesday, June 17th.
The tennis courts will be closed for one week (June 17th-June 23rd) while the resurfacing is being completed.
If we experience poor weather conditions, the courts may need to remain closed past June 23rd in order to finish the repair process.
We are sorry for any inconvenience while the courts are closed, but we know you will enjoy playing on the improved surface when it re-opens!
